Speaking to the Birmingham Mail. Stale Solbakken has predicted a frantic end to the transfer window.



“It happens in England when things appear to be done very late historically. In Norway it is a big night, when you can see the sun is not going down everyone goes North and stays up all night. And in England you wait for the last day of the transfer window and sit listening to the radio or watching the television to see which players are coming or going. It’s a strange world! And, of course, that’s all the manager’s fault because we are all waiting for each other and the clubs are all waiting for each other! Some are cool and wait and then others panic and there are crazy deals.” he said.
