West Ham make offer for Gradel

Max Gradel has been the subject of interest from many Championship clubs this summer and now according to skysports.com, it appears that West Ham United are the first to have tabled an offer.

The Ivory Coast International is currently plying his trade at Leeds United, but the Yorkshire outfit would rather him leave for another club now than depart for free when his contract runs out at the end of next season.

Newspaper speculation claimed that Gradel was being linked with a move to Upton Park before the transfer window officially opened on 1st July, but whether these rumours prove to be true remains to be seen.
