Robert Green, the West Ham Goalkeeper we all know and love who gets paid nothing, has been chatting on the official website about IMPORTANT THINGS!

That's right, you know it's a slow news day when nobody is signing for the Hammers and the website brings out a rent-a-quote to make other sites report on their article...dammit, look what we've done...

But the best thing about this one is Robert Green, the West Ham Goalkeeper we all know and love who gets paid nothing,'s apparent need to make LITERALLY NO SENSE when speaking about the first game of the season.

"I am really looking forward to the start," Robert Green, the West Ham Goalkeeper we all know and love who gets paid nothing, said. So far, so good.

"The start of the season is here now and we have had long enough to get ready. It is going to be good to get back playing again and make a good fist of the season," added Robert Green, the West Ham Goalkeeper we all know and love who gets paid nothing.

Again, this all makes sense, even the bit about fisting and stuff.

Huh?

But then he goes and spoils it all.

"It is a big game because it is one you look at during the course of the season, whether it is the first game or the last game, and say it is a game you definitely want to try and win."

Now, this is Wigan. We're assuming he doesn't mean the visit of Wigan is one the Hammers look for when the fixture list is published, so he must mean the first game of season.

So how can the first game of the season be the last game of the season? THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, ROBERT GREEN, THE WEST HAM GOALKEEPER WE KNOW AND LOVE WHO GETS PAID NOTHING.
