With the transfer window now officially open, transfer matters in and out are really hotting up at Upton Park.

It is speculated that Sam Allardyce may be looking to bring in two potential players, Peterborough United's Craig Mackail-Smith who is reported to be in talks with the club, however there is interest from Leicester City and QPR. The other deal being mentioned is a return to East London for Manchester City's Craig Bellamy.

Squad members that could be on the way out include Julien Faubert who is apparently in advanced talks with Lazio, while it's being reported by the News of the World that West Bromwich Albion along with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are tracking the progress of Jack Collison who is allegedly refusing to commit himself to the club.

While the backroom reshuffle saw Paul Groves, David Coles and Kevin Keen leave their positions yesterday, reserve team coach Steve Lomas has also left the club.
