Grant on his way back to the Bridge?

According to today's Daily Express, Chelsea are ready to offer West Ham United manager Avram Grant a director of football role at Stamford Bridge.

Grant previously held the role before being promoted when Jose Mourinho left the club in 2007. He then went on to take the club to the Champions League final, where they eventually lost on penalties to Manchester United in Moscow.

It is not the first time there has been speculation about Grant moving back to West London, although his future at Upton Park has been under scrunity for some time and with West Ham currently in 18th position on 32 points but still in with a real chance of retaining their Premier League status, it is thought that his position will be reviewed at the end of the current season.

So who knows what will happen over the summer at Upton Park? All us fans can do is watch this space.
