Grant eyes move for Barca star

According to, West Ham United have joined Juventus in the race to sign Barcelona striker Bojan Krcic in January.

A large transfer fee would be required to lure Krkic away from the Nou Camp as Barca coach Josep Guardiola is not prepared to let the player leave- he is under contract with the Spanish giants until 2013.

The Hammers already have a plethora of strikers including Carlton Cole, Benni McCarthy, Frederic Piquionne, loan signing Victor Obinna, Frank Nouble and Freddie Sears.

With all these strikers currently at Avram Grant's disposal, if a move for Krkic materialised it would be difficult to see where he fitted in.
