Grant back in for Rensing?

According to today's Daily Mail, West Ham United have joined the race for former Bayern Munich keeper Michael Rensing. With Robert Green having endured a sticky start to the season, the paper claims that manager Avram Grant is still on the look out for cover.

If a deal was to materialise, this would seem to Hammers' fans like a strange move as the club have adaquate cover already in the goalkeeping department, especially with the signing of Ruud Boffin who arrived at the club in the summer transfer window.

With news of the Rensing move resurfacing, as he had been linked in the summer as part of Grant's search for a backup to Green, fans may be wondering what will happen to the likes of Marek Stech and long-term injury victim Peter Kurucz.
