West Ham United boss Avram Grant has admitted he would like to bring Robbie Keane to the club before the transfer window closes tomorrow evening.

According to Grant is pondering a move for the Tottenham and Republic of Ireland striker. Grant said, "The club has big, big debts but he's a player I would like to get".

The club has been linked with a move for Keane in recent weeks but Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp insists the player is not for sale saying, "I wouldn't accept an offer for Robbie Keane before the window shuts, not at the moment. We haven't got anybody else. I couldn't afford to let him go."

While a move for Keane seems unlikely, according to the Hammers could also move for Brescia striker Andrea Caracciolo. If Carlton Cole is sold to Liverpool before the deadline, Grant could re-establish contact with Brescia after agreeing to sell midfielder Alessandro Diamanti to them last week.
