According to reports in today's Daily Mirror, West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker has signed a contract extension.

As is very often the case, club co-owner David Sullivan stated in March after the 3-1 home defeat to Wolves that all the squad apart from Parker would be up for sale, but the only player that has seemed to attract big interest is Parker, with Tottenham very openly having a bid rejected.

However, the day after West Ham openly rejected the bid, reports were circling that Parker was frustrated at not being allowed to talk to Spurs.

That seems to have all blown over now and Sullivan and Gold must be delighted with Parker's decision to add a further year to his current three-year deal.
