Stoke after Kovac following Cole rejection

Sky Sports News is reporting that West Ham United Midfielder Radoslav Kovac is in talks with officials at the Britania Stadium.

Kovac, who has been at Upton Park since January 2009 made an initial loan move to the club before the then manager Gianfranco Zola decided to renew his interest and sign him on a permanent deal.

This deal had not been on the cards until news of talks came to light today, but Stoke had made public their interest in Hammers' striker Carlton Cole, although he and manager Avram Grant do not want to finalise a deal.
