Baradji could make Hammers return

West Ham United along with Wigan Athletic are keen on signing a deal for Sekou Baradji.

The player is currently on trial at the DW Stadium and has been for three weeks so Latics' manager Roberto Martinez is keen to sign him up. However, interest could yet arrive from Avram Grant who it is believed tried to sign the player while in charge of Portsmouth.

Most Hammers' fans may not know that Baradji had a brief spell at Upton Park five years ago, before almost immediately going on loan to Reading and then being released by the East-London club.
