Hammers go again with Riquelme offer

Sport.co.uk claims that West Ham United could beabout to make one last attempt to bring Juan Roman Riquelme to Upton Park.

Riquelme was set to renew his contract with former club Boca Juniors after his previous deal expired, but talks between the two parties have broken down and he is currently in talks about a move to Brazilian club Flamengo.

The player has previously been linked with a move to Upton Park but turned the opportunity down, however it now seems that the Hammers will try again as Premier League interest increases, with Birmingham City and Manchester City joining the race to sign him.
