Miralem Sulejmani's move to West Ham United is edgeing closer according to the Daily Mail.

His current club, Ajax, have recently signed Moroccan striker Mounir El Hamdaoui and are on the verge of bringing former West Ham flop Mido back to renew aquaintances at the Dutch club, meaning Sulejmani is likely to be surplus to requirements.

Hammers' boss Avram Grant is still keen on adding extra fire-power to his strike force, although he has already bought Frederic Piquionne to the club and also has Carlton Cole and Benni McCarthy to choose from.
