Gold admits to possible Parker sale

The Daily Express today carries quotes from West Ham United Chairman David Gold as he admitted that if the right price came in for midfielder Scott Parker, they would seriously consider the sale.

Parker was the only player that both Gold and co-owner David Sullivan said was not up for sale during the summer, but it now appears that Aston Villa could be in pole position to sign him as a replacement for James Milner should he move to Manchester City.

Speculation about a deal for Parker from Villa has been talked about all summer but it remains to be seen whether anything will happen.
