Leicester defender Joe Mattock has once again been the subject of a bid from the Hammers, after an earlier offer was rejected in January.

The England Under-21 defender was reportedly kept at the Walkers Stadium despite West Ham bidding £1.25 m for his services.

However, the bid will apparently rise to around £2m if sources are to be believed, and the player may be tempted by such a switch.

We'll be honest, it's not the most reliable of all sources so this could be the re-hashing of old transfer bids, but youth is and has always been important at Upton Park, so he could be on his way if things work out properly.
