West Ham United have released Republic of Ireland youngster Terry Dixon.

Dixon spent 18 months with the clubs medical team trying to regain some form of match fitness and despite a call up for Ireland it still seems his fitness is not good enough.

This seems such a shame as when he signed, the club were talking him up to be an exciting prospect.
