Well hello there boys and girls. You like West Ham, we publish new round ups...it's a happy marriage all in all.

And now it's blessed by the fact we've reached our tenth one of the window so far - thanks for all you have read this and supported us so far...blah blah blah we know it's not a big deal, but hey, we want to milk it nonetheless.

We won't make any more speeches, promise.

Johnson - why won't he come to Upton?

These blasted rumours about Andy Johnson...why is he constantly linked away from Goodison Park?

First off, he's settled there. He's one of their best strikers and is certainly playing well...22 goals in around 60 games is not too shabby, especially when he's the second highest scorer after Yakubu.

But apparently Wigan and Sunderland are in for him at £10 million...so that's more than he was bought for? If Everton are not a selling club, and his value has gone up, where do these reports come from?

Plus, I thought the info from the Mike Tyson fight in Birmingham (why there, we don't know) was he would only come to West Ham?

Hmm...I smell porkies somewhere in here. He'll be pulling on the Everton blue this season...mark my words.

Noble pledge

Mark Noble has underlined his committment to the Hammers by looking for a full international call-up this year after impressing at Under-21 level.

Noble told BBC London: "Apart from my name on the team-sheet each week, my main target is to get a call-up for the England team.

"Hopefully if that happens it would be great but I want to play every week for West Ham and that's my main target at the minute."

"I played near on 30 games last season, 25 starts I think. I still want to improve and do better. I want to be more consistent and hopefully with age that comes.

"We know what we need to do this season and we know we've got to do better than we did last season. If we can get our better players fit and keep them fit it'll be a good season."

Well, as one of the better players last year (by dearth of the fact he stayed fit for most of the campaign...few managed that) he certainly would deserve it, especially if the Hammers can get up the league this year.

Bookies put West Ham mid-table

Spread betting firm Spreadex have place the Hammers in 12th place for next season's Premier League finish, after assessing the lack of transfer activity.

The firm has said the team will drop two places from last year's top 10 finish, despite only scoring three less points.

However, the betting company has hardly gone out on a limb with its predictions - Manchester United to win and the three promoted clubs to go down is hardly the result of weeks of calculation, is it?

Ferdinand is happy - official

BBC London 94.9has put together a little 'I'm Anton Ferdinand and I am happy here' special to honour the brother of the England defender.

Ferdinand, said "I'm happy at this club, and until I get told I'm not a West Ham player, I will be a West Ham player.

"I've grown up at the club and I enjoy playing here.

"Should it happen that I leave West Ham, I know I'd be able to go with my head held high."

Apparently he's also enjoying the thought of ending his holidays and getting on with pre-season...as if.

"It's hard but it's the base, the start of your season. I'm looking forward to putting that West Ham shirt back on."

He added: "I'm an ambitious person. I want to play in Europe and I want to play for England."

As you can see...it's a day where the Hammers have been linked with very few players. Makes a change, eh?
