West Ham United striker Freddie Sears, who is currently on loan at Crystal Palace, could make his move to the Eagles permanent in January.

Sears is unlikely to receive a regular starting place at Upton Park, seeing himself fall behind Carlton Cole, Guillermo Franco, Alessandro Diamanti and Zavon Hines in the pecking order.

Palace manager Neill Warnock has been alerted to this news and could make a move in the new year.
