Soon after returning to Upton Park from a loan spell with Spanish giants Real Madrid, French winger Julien Faubert has admitted that he is happy to be back in London although somewhat vague on his future.

He told skysports.com he was ‘happy to be back at West Ham. Madrid was a good experience, a big club, and the training was very good like it is here’.

But when pressed on his longer term prospects he said: ‘It is my third year, maybe I will stay, maybe I won’t. I will try to do my best and we’ll see what happens.’

He began his career in France with AS Cannes and Bordeaux before moving to the Hammers in 2007- to date he has made 27 appearances, and during his loan at the Bernabeu he managed only two starts, making his debut for them against Racing Santander.
