Lucas Neill has joined Robert Green as a West Ham 'contract rebel' but we have to say we aren't losing much sleep over this one.

West Ham's takeover seems to be limping towards a resolution too. In a fortnight we could be owned by an Icelandic investment bank Straumur which represents bankrupt owner Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson's holding company's creditors.

We think with got that right. It may not sound romantic and the days of flashing the cash are gone.
