West Ham United play their second game on the road under the lights in five days tonight as they head to Anfield to try and inflict Liverpool's first top-flight defeat of the season after losing 2-0 to Manchester City at The Etihad Stadium five days ago.

Jürgen Klopp's men were supposed to travel to East London on 21 December but due to their involvement in the Fifa Club World Cup, the reverse fixture was only played just under a month ago. Despite the hosts playing well, they were unfortunate to be on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline.

The last time David Moyes brought West Ham here was exactly two years ago today and they lost 4-1. The Scotsman certainly won't want the same happening again.

Results over the weekend went in favour of the Hammers with AFC Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Brighton and Hove Albion, Watford and Norwich City all dropping points, meaning that they remain one point from safety. It may be a long shot but if Moyes could mastermind his team's second win at the home of the Reds since 1963, they will climb out of the relegation zone.

Although the hosts are yet to taste defeat in the league, they do come into this game off the back of a 1-0 defeat in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie against Atletico Madrid.

Ryan Fredericks suffered shoulder ligament damage in Manchester and will miss the rest of the season so Moyes will have to make at least one change to his side as Pablo Zabaleta will fill in for the former Fulham man, while it is as yet unknown whether Jarrod Bowen will be handed a start. Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini could also come into the starting line-up.

Tonight's match kicks off at 8pm and for the second consecutive game, coverage will be screened by Sky Sports with build-up starting from 7pm. Just as he was last month, the referee will again be Jonathan Moss.
