West Ham United play their third home game in a row on Saturday afternoon and it is a critical one as Brighton and Hove Albion are the visitors to Stratford.

David Moyes hasn't seen his side record a victory since his first match back in charge against AFC Bournemouth on New Year's Day and he will be wanting to start February on a positive note.

Graham Potter's men haven't been in action since January 21 when they struggled against the Cherries at The Vitality Stadium and were on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline, leaving them fifteenth in the table, currently just two points ahead of the Irons.

The Seagulls definitely will be the fresher of the two sides going into this game, as the hosts have had to play twice during that time so with the visitors having enjoyed success in East London on their previous two visits, Potter will be looking to see if his side can once again take advantage, given that they will be the fresher of the two teams.

New signing Tomáš Souček will be hoping to be involved after his arrival on a loan deal until the end of the season was confirmed on Wednesday.

Michail Antonio missed the game against Jürgen Klopp's men and could be back in contention here, while it remains to be seen whether Jeremy Ngakia will retain his place after impressing on his first-team debut or whether Pablo Zabaleta will be restored to the starting line-up.

23-year-old forward Jarrod Bowen became the club's third and final signing of the transfer window joining on deadline day for an undisclosed fee on a five-and-a-half-year deal from Sky Bet Championship side Hull City. He won't be involved against Saturday's visitors but will be in contention to make his debut against current Premier League Champions Manchester City next weekend.

Saturday's match is a 3pm kick-off and the referee is Michael Oliver.
