West Ham United remain in sixteenth place in the Premier League table, just two points outside the relegation zone. When you're in that position, the last side you probably want to be facing is an Everton team managed by Carlo Ancelotti. However, that is exactly what West Ham United have to do as the Toffees visit Stratford this afternoon.

In his last game of his first stint in charge of the Hammers though, David Moyes managed to help his team produce a performance which saw them triumph 3-1 over his former club.

The home faithful will certainly be hoping that their team can come up with something similar to begin what is a tough looking week for the Irons.

The two sides won the away fixture last season as Everton achieved a 2-0 victory in April, when they were under the stewardship of former Hull City and Watford boss Marco Silva.

West Ham go into this game hoping to banish the memories of having a last-minute equaliser snatched  away from them in the 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Sheffield United whilst at the same time, inflicting what would be only Ancelotti's second league defeat since being appointed their new Head-Coach on 21 December.

Darren Randolph's move back to East London was finally completed on Wednesday and Moyes will have to decide whether it is him, or David Martin who replaces Lukasz Fabianski. The Pole will be missing having suffered a re-occurrence of the hip injury he originally picked up in September.

Thankfully though, it isn't as bad as first feared and he could be back in contention for the encounter against Liverpool on 29 January.

Felipe Anderson is also struggling to be fit so either Pablo Fornals or Robert Snodgrass will fill in for him alongside Manuel Lanzini.

Fabián Balbuena could drop to the bench after his error proved costly at Bramall Lane last time out and should Moyes decide to make a change at centre-back, then Issa Diop would come into the starting line-up having not begun a match since the home defeat to Leicester City on 28 December.

Arthur Masuaku is a doubt and may not feature.

The match is a 3pm kick-off and the referee is Andre Marriner.
