It has been confirmed that West Ham United will face a trip to The Priestfield Stadium to take on Sky Bet League One outfit Gillingham in the third-round of the FA Cup and the tie will be played on Sunday 5 January with live coverage being screened by BT Sport.

Kick-off will be at the unusual time of 6:16pm due to all 32 ties kicking off one minute later because of the Heads Up mental health awareness campaign.

Hammers' fans will be well aware that sides from the third tier have been accountable for ending their team's progress in recent seasons with defeats to Wigan Athletic and AFC Wimbledon albeit in later rounds. They will want to rectify that issue and put the side managed by Steve Evans to the sword.

The Gills had to take their first-round tie to a replay against fellow League One side Sunderland. They eventually knocked the Black Cats out in extra-time before comfortably beating Doncaster Rovers to progress to this stage.
