West Ham United clinched their first August point since 2015 with the 1-1 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend. They will be hoping to back that up with a first victory of the new campaign when they face a London derby with Watford at Vicarage Road this afternoon.

The Hammers go into the game having slipped two places in the Premier League table since their last outing.

Manuel Pellegrini's side will be chasing consecutive wins in Hertfordshire, as they look to build on last season's triumph which was a first for the Irons here since March 2000.

Javi Gracia's team have lost their opening two games and are yet to even score but with the visitors arriving having conceded six goals already, who knows what will happen here.

Angelo Ogbonna made his 128th Premier League appearance and captained the side at The American Express Community Stadium last weekend but he may miss out as Fabián Balbuena could renew his partnership with Issa Diop.

Mark Noble is set to reach another milestone in his career if he makes a return to the side, as expected from a thigh strain. He will be making his 350th top-flight appearance and regain the captaincy.

Manuel Lanzini impressed on his 100th league appearance last Saturday and he will hope to retain his place in midfield, while Michail Antonio will be itching to be restored to the starting line-up after also making a big contribution against Graham Potter's team. Andriy Yarmolenko looked dangerous after coming off the bench against the Seagulls and is an option to start behind the striker.

Sébastien Haller and Felipe Anderson are set to return to the matchday squad after both have recovered from minor knocks sustained on the opening day.

Albian Ajeti was an unused substitute in Sussex last time out but may feature here.

The match is a 3pm kick-off and the referee is Christopher Kavanagh.
