Another Sunday. Another tabloid expose of West Ham's financial problems.

Don't get me wrong. This credit crunch is for real and things are going to be sticky for a bit.

But come on. I'm not going to be slitting my wrists just yet.

West Ham have a good squad to stand oine or two departures in January should the need arise.

And the doom-laden scenario that somehow West Ham might end up in administration seem far-fetched.

Get real

The reality is that the Premier League continues to generate significant and (virtually) guranteed revenue.

Unlike a club like Portsmouth, for example, which is also facing crunch point, West Ham also have significant match-day revenues, not to mention their other off-field activities.

An attractive proposition for any cash-rich investor in our book.

Call us complacent, but West Ham are going to be punching their weight for the foreseeable.
