Gianfranco Zola is set to take the West Ham job in the next 48 hours or so, but turned down the Newcastle position despite being potentially offered more money and transfer budget.

However, thanks to something of Dennis Wise's book being published on the net, it appears his lovely little pranks might be a reason for Zola to ignore the call up north.

Despite being the calm Italian antithesis to Wisey's violence, he still got riled up when Dennis 'cheekily' tore the final chapter of his spy thriller out the book, having enquired about the book on countless occasions.

Then he asked Zola about the ending, who was perplexed about why it ended so abruptly.

Then ol' Wisey (what a cockney prankster) said he could only have the final pages back if he scored against Crystal Palace in the next game. He did.

So...OK, this probably isn't the real reason, but it's fun to poke fun at the Dennis Wise situation at Newcastle, seeing as it is currently ballsing up the whole club.

To sum up: think the way van Nistlerooy made Cristiano Ronaldo cry, and ask yourself if he'd work with him in a managerial capacity.
