Hi all, we're back! Did you miss us while we had a lads week in Berlin?

No? Then screw you.

But our thanks go out to Davo (Jon Davis to the uninformed) who we plucked from the terraces to take over in our absence...and he did a great job. Well worth the half drunk beer and cold pie we paid him with.

Anyway, today's yammerings over: it's transfer day! We're going to keep you abreast of all of the rumours that spill out over the next 12 hours...and what's more we want you to contribute.

Are you a taxi driver who picked up Wayne Rooney from Heathrow and delivered him to Upton Park? Are you Alan Curbishley's Nan with inside info? If you are, contact us using the link on the left...we want to hear from you asap, and we will publish practically anything.

So, without further ado: the transfer chat so far:

1226: There are stronger and stronger reports in Italy of Edison Cavani making his way over here. He has been linked with a move to Atlanta in a makeweight deal for another striker (we forget which) but apparently favours a move over here.

Don't forget, this is your chance to shine. Should Dean Ashton go and you break it, then your name will forever be immortalised as ITK.
