After having a relatively quiet time in this window, matters could really get going with today being the last day for any deals to be done until the summer.

Sam Allardyce had kept reiterating that he would like to add a striker to his current squad at Upton Park and it looks like he is in the market for another two players today, with reports claiming that the club are investigating the possibility of signing Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison. It also would not be deadline day without the East London club being linked with one of Allardyce's former Bolton Wanderers players and apparently a medical is in the offing for Ricardo Vaz Te.

West Ham had contacted Barnsley over the possibility of signing Vaz Te yesterday, but the Tykes had rejected the approach saying it was derisory.

As with all transfer deadline days, Hammers' fans will have to wait until 11pm to find out what happens with any potential deals.
