Mark Bresciano is in negotiations with West Ham over a possible move that may mean Gael Givet's move might be off.

The Palermo president,  Maurizio di Someone-or-other has said he is in negotiations with both West Ham and Rangers over the Aussie defender, but hopes that he'll stay.

"So far we have been negotiating with Glasgow Rangers and West Ham United, but I hope that in the end he stays, though it is the player who makes the choice. However, we can rule out any chance of a loan."

So, looks like there's no chance of a loan then.

The Aussie Socceroo (why don't England have such a fun name?) played a pretty poor game against South Africa at Loftus Road the other day, but at least it gave the Hammers' chief scouts the chance to look at him in English action.

Conceding six goals Steve? How on earth can you blame me when you let in six?
