Rhodes bid rejected

The Daily Mail website this morning carried an article suggesting that West Ham United had an initial offer for Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes rejected, the article also suggested that they would return with an offer of £3m.

It has emerged this afternoon on Sky Sports News that Huddersfield have rejected the Hammers latest attempt to prise the striker away from the McAlpine Stadium.

Sam Allardyce said in his pre-match press conference before the 1-0 win against Barnsley on the 17th December that he had a list of 25 targets he would like to sign during the January transfer window and on Tuesday it emerged that Rhodes was one of them.

It remains to be seen whether Allardyce will return with a third bid or starts pursuing one of the 24 other potential targets. This website will keep you Hammers' fans posted.
