Yet another transfer deal has been done at Upton Park today as Sam Allardyce has signed the Ivory Coast international Guy Demel on a three year deal, following his free transfer move from Hamburg, skysports.com speculates.

Allardyce has reignited the club's interest in Demel after he was wanted by previous Hammers' manager Avram Grant but that deal never came to fruition.

Today, the signing of Demel follows the arrivals of Henri Lansbury and David Bentley but the Ivorian is the first permanent signing of the day for the East London club.
