Sam Allardyce is having a busy transfer deadline day. Having earlier confirmed signing of Arsenal's Henri Lansbury on a season-long loan, he has now gone back to Tottenham Hotspur to confirm the signing of David Bentley also on a season-long loan.

Personally I find this deal to be an interesting one as this is a completely separate deal to the one that saw Scott Parker leave for White Hart Lane earlier.
