Hammers complete Baldock move

After reported interest on Thursday from West HamUnited in the MK dons player Sam Baldock, on Friday it was confirmed that the Hammers had signed Baldock for an undisclosed fee on a four year-deal.They are also expected to complete the signing of Brian Montenegro on Monday.

Sam Allardyce has been looking for a new striker since he took over at Upton Park in June.

 Baldock had been the subject of interest from a number of clubs this summer, notably Peterborough United, who MK dons had reportedly agreed a fee for.However the move broke down when Posh boss Darren Ferguson was reported to have shown him around the city then Baldock had a complete change of heart and decided to stay at Stadiummk.

Baldock, who signed for the Hammers on Friday, could be available for their trip to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
