According to reports on London Sam Allardyce appears to have gone back in for one of his early transfer targets.

Sam Allardyce said in his post-match interview with BBC London following the 2-2 home draw with Leeds United on Sunday, that he cannot wait until September 1st because he can then start to plan the way forward with the players he's got at his disposal.
