Greek media speculation today suggests that AEK Athens have made a late move to hijack Eidur Gudjohnsen's proposed move to Upton Park.

Representatives of the player are believed to have met with a club director and its Director Of Football, former Icelandic international Arnar Gretarsson, to discuss the offer of a two year deal- they finished fourth in last season's Greek Super League.
