The Wests (not the burying people kind) of Brom and Ham have opened talks over the transfer of James Collins.

Apparently the West Midlanders, who ALREADY have signed a centre half in the shape of Abdoulaye Meite from Bolton form Bolton, want ANOTHER defender, and won't admit to being greedy.

They are proposing to take the Welsh international on a long term loan, with a view to signing him in January.

Collins is soon to return from a knee injury, and will be looking for games to get himself fit, and he could go to another club and do just that. Would he be back? Who knows.

We do. But we won't tell you, in case you ever go back in time and are able to tell yourself about it, thereby disrupting the whole balance of the world.
