Ninth place Preston North End host thirteenth placed Bristol City at Deepdale this weekend looking to build on their midweek draw against Derby.

The Lilywhites are on a good run of late and manager Alan Irvine has no new injury concerns to worry about going into the game, though Liam Chilvers (hamstring) and Neal Trotman (hernia) remain sidelined.

Wayne Brown has departed the club in accordance with his loan agreement and is expected to be replaced by Frenchman Youl Mawene who will partner Sean Ledger at centre-back.

The Robins also have an almost full-strength squad to choose from with the exception of long term injury Christian Ribeiro (cruciate ligament) and Andy Webster who has a leg injury.

Jamie McAllister is elligible before starting his one-match ban for five yellow cards next week.

City manager Gary Johnson, said: "There are five games between now and Christmas. That's what I want for Christmas, the boys to be in the top six."
