Wont sack KL. It'll cost thrm too much money.

Thye'll soldier on with KJ.

THEY never post anything anymore.

Lets be honest. Thye can't be making any money out of us.

What happens if they've fell out of love with us. Can they just walk?

The problem is, what do the Eisners' actually know about football? diddly squat

So, who do they go to for advice when the manager is struggling? Mark Catlin, probably!

and what does mark Catlin know about football? diddly squat

This mean that unless Sean O'Driscol is the unofficial DoF at Pompey, we have a dearth of knowledge t the club if the manager is struggling.

Easy to blame the Eisners' on the football side, but surely Catlin should have set up a system where he has somewhere to go if the manager is struggling. Maybe O'Driscol is his go to man, maybe not. If he solely goes to Jackett for football advice, that is a losing strategy.

Someone, somewhere should have been advising Catlin that we needed a 3rd striker in the squad. Who didn't do that? Jackett should have been strong;y challenged on this. This says to me that we don't have a man effectively acting as a DoF, or his opinion isn't being listened to.

Early days for him, massive, massive mistake. He appears to have learn a bit, as he rejected June Ellis for the role of DoF at Pompey at the start of the season.

I repeat the point though, who enabled our squad to start the season with just 2 strikers? We now have only 1 fit striker after Harrison was injured today.

The one and only saving grace of the Eisner's is that at no point are we questioning the immediate future of the club.

On the other hand, they've demonstrated breathtaking naivety in the running of the club since day one. If they cannot afford to sack the manager, how would they have afforded promotion to the championship? They have gone out of their way to just exist in this league. Jacketts abject failure in the playoffs this year has saved them a fortune.

The Eisner's are totally out of their depth and I'm genuinely surprised given that they have experience if running a sports team. Their silence is deafening.

....Or just have 2 strikers at the club who:
a) wonít score enough goals all the time they have a hole in their ars3
b) wonít score goals the way Jackett sets his team up

Eric to Michael or vice versa. Hey, have you seen what is happening about the lack of funding for the Championship?

Yes, I have, could be 6 or more teams folding in the Championship so League 1 teams could be sucked up into the Championship cannon fodder league costing a fortune for those who go there.

So what do we tell Catlin to do?

He should advise KJ that he gets a bonus if he lands us in 19th or 20th place no risk of the horrible promotion thing they do in Limey Land

I believe that Catlin fed them a rosy story about how easy it would be to fill the team with home grown talent to beat the world, whereas we all know it's the hardest. I now squirm at all that Ryan Gosling stuff we were fed at the Guildhall.

On the subject of young talent I also believe that the current situation is as low as it has ever been. We can usually dredge up several names of youngsters who may or may not do better than the present incumbents. Currently I can only think of one, Mnonga, who fits the bill. All in all quite a worrying time for us.

Probably not quite yet, but we would be one of the many just about to go under.

We probably still are, if we really are losing 700k a month Tornante will not be able to fund that for ever, they are not that cash rich however rich their owners are. Their current silence should be ringing alarm bells.

Without a bailout the estimate is that more than half of lge 1 & 2 will fail to finish the season, plus half a dozen championship clubs. That is the seriousness of the crisis football is facing, results & choice of managers pale into insignificance for clubs just trying to survive.

I wonder what odds you can get on the season not finishing ?

Might save us from relegation !! Again without making this in any political comment, itís so strange that arts, hospitality, etc have had major emergency funding but football is not deemed worthy apart from national league (I may have my facts wrong so need to be corrected as I lose track of who is getting what!).

Football. The entertainment business that doesn't entertain. It pays it's so-called stars fortunes whilst not giving a toss about its customers. It won't bother me one bit if the whole shebang folds. It's rotten right through.

I fail to see how you can sit on a plane for 6+ hrs but canít sit for 2hrs at a football game, surely if a ground holds 20,000 fans, 10,000 Should be easy and safely seated around the entire ground ( no away fans). The clubs get some income and the players get an atmosphere, surely win win

There would have to be phased exit. 1 row at a time controlled by stewards. It would not take long. Same with entry.

There are obvious difficulties such as people popping to the loo mid game, those leaving a little early, queueing for drinks etc.

Can't see alcohol being served. Do masks apply in grounds etc.

Has anyone been to non league and seen what they've done there?

Easy don't serve food or drink ( its only a couple of hours ffs), phased exit one stand/row at a time, yes it'll take longer but something has to give if we want to watch sport again soon.

It's about getting there as well.
Mixed households in cars
Public transport (reduced seat capacity. Drinking in pubs prior to match.

How you get there isnít really the club or the EFLís problem. Itís still possible to travel safely. Just find a different pub or go with out.
