Better not be that lineup if we're in the championship!

Our chances of having Seddon & McGeehan can only about 50/50.

Nah, I think seddon is up for staying and Birmingham dont want him.

Mcgeechan is definitely not wanted at his parent club. Only way they keep him is of the manager changes.

I think we need an upgrade on Naylor and Marquis.

Clotet didn't want him but he's been sacked. The new manager may well want to keep him, especially if they cash in on their first choice LB.

McGeehan, I agree is more likely, but also less exciting as a signing and I'm not sure he is what we need, especially if we go up.

Naylor is proven in the Championship so I see no problem there, and Marquis has improved a lot since he last played there too.

God help us if we do go up and Tom Naylor is our best/first choice midfielder.

You need a Naylor to break up play and give the ball to someone more creative PSB.

Iíve lost count of the number of players who are not appreciated by crowd but are very much missed when they arenít there.

I think he can make the step up but time will tell.

There is a small matter of winning the play-offs first of course.

Yes, Naylor is good at breaking up play and if that is his job in the team then heís fine. Whenís he ends up having to do the job of two people is when it falls down fast. The key is who plays next to him. We really need to get in someone top calibre in the middle wherever we are next season. Jury is out for me on Cannon still. Flashes of good stuff but Iím not convinced yet.
Maybe with his return to fitness and the recent break heíll show us what he can do.

Agree with gaffer. Naylor is the one player we have in midfield who can put his foot in. He has his limitations, not least his range of passing. If we can bring in someone better (if we get promoted then fine), if we cant then he could be crucial.

Judging by recent teams who have gone up into the Championship it can be the kiss of death I expect Luton and Barnsley to come straight back down again. Charlton will do well if they can avoid relegation Jackett hasn't got a good record in the Championship either so we will have to strengthen most areas if we get there. In my opinion we have the nucleus of a good team as usual our midfield is the weakest area together with our defence. Strike wise I think we have the right players especially if Marquis can show why we bought him and not Ivan Toney!

I think the £12m Peterborough wanted for Ivan Toney rather than the £2m we spent on marquis was probably the reason why we got him.

This was before he moved to the Posh he was an option we did not pursue based on the fact Marquis wanted to come here as Posh were in for him before Toney

If by a miracle we do go up & that's a very Big If the club will need to be prepared to spend "Big Time" probably on both transfer fees & salaries. I'm Not convinced ME is fully aware of the situation. Look at the clubs from half way up in the championship most are owned by very wealthy individuals or groups who have invested heavily. Luton & Barnsley going down & Charlton possibly escaping by the skin of their teeth shows you need to recruit heavily if you can afford it.

Not so Jam .... Toney signed for Peterborough a year before we signed Marquis.
