Difference between the teams
One team closed the other down brilliantly and were clinical with their finishing.

Doesnít help that our right sided width is non existent

Difference between the teams

Our width was non existent as Professor yaffle changed the formation after half an hour. We tried to match their formation with tin man Tom at the base of the midfield, Close and Cannon as the shuttlers and Harness behind Curtis and Harrison. MKD have played that way for years, we try it after two years of Jackettball, get it wide and get crosses in.

Raggett just panics any time the ball is near him, his biggest impact is to make Burgess, last seasonís third choice centre back look like Beckenbauer.

Naylor was apalling today, always giving the ball away, Close was backwards and sideways all the time. Furthermore, his set pieces were atrocious. Cannon was a headless chicken as was Harness.

None of the subs gave us anything new other than confirmation Brett had enjoyed a good Christmas.

Too much wrong with this squad, led by a carved wooden bookend who stands on the touch line like a lump of meat in mittens.

Difference between the teams

I was waiting for that phrase to appear on here: headless chicken.

I said in an earlier thread that we needed to see him play 5 times. We are nearly there and he really does have a problem with playing with his head up. I think we are seeing confirmation of the type of player we need but st the same time how Canon falls short.

Difference between the teams

The difference between the two teams was simple. KJ was out-thought, out-planned, and out-tactic-ed by a rookie manager. Says it all.
