Hopefully we know enough about him to make sure he doesnt make too much of an impact next week.

Id continue to keep the back 4 as they are as they will know how to avoid giving away easy free kicks to him. Dont trust Bolton, Raggett, Downing to know what hes like.

He won most of his free kicks in defensive positions, so it's the forwards that need to watch out.

There's an article on him in the News today .. I hadn't realised that he has spent most of the season on the bench for them, and it revealed that it was QPR that pulled the plug on their offer for him leaving him clubless.

Be interesting to see what sort of reception he gets ... warm because he always gave his best for us ? or frosty because he decided to want away ? or sympathetic because of the way QPR treated him ?

He doesn't play for us Deep, so he should get the hostile reception any other opposition player would expect.

He didnt play for us for long enough, or show us sufficient loyalty, to get any kind of special treatment.

Maybe, gaffer. But there are always some players that are more popular than others while they are here and would get decent receptions when they come back. The circumstances of the departure is often the deciding factor - for example I reckon Matt Clarke would always get a decent reception but Jamal Lowe wouldn't.

I'm genuinely not sure which side of the fence Thompson will be on. He was up front with us about wanting to be in the championship - understandable at his age and with an offer on the table.

Id boo Jamal as much as a scummer, not that Im bitter or anything. Good to see Wigan in the bottom 3 at the moment.

Nathan, Id probably give some light hearted sh;t to. He waited til the end of his contract with us and gave his front teeth for the cause.

Why would anybody boo Jamal Lowe unless you were either a scummer or a complete melt.
