Donít think there is a firm date yet. Some time around January was mentioned when he went for his operation but obviously depends on how his rehab is going.

Jack is due back at Xmas and likely to play himself into form in January, be amazing in February and crocked by the beginning of March and have to concede its not going to happen for him.
I'm gutted to say so, he has a real talent but he is so injury prone.

He was overplayed last year. I cannot believe jacket would make the same mistake again, and I believe Whatmough would advise jacket to rest him every few games.

Crock who would have played at the top level otherwise.

Says a lot about us pining for his return

Wish him well of course

Surely the next long-term injury he gets will be the last. I can't see him staying in the game if this happens again, at least not at this level.

I hope you are wrong but yeah, theres not many who come back from so many injuries.

Can think of Ledley King, who had nothing left in his knees by the end -but he was well established top level player who was allowed to skip most training between matches, to allow him to keep going.

The classic player here was Paul McGrath who's knees were so bad he couldn't train at all at the end & just played matches with lots of pain killers injected.
