Each to their own and there is no right answer for this sort of thing, but my rationale was I no longer support Jackett, so didn't go because I didn't want to contribute to a negative atmosphere that would affect the team

Good supporters do what is best for their team. At the moment I think the owners and management need to be in no doubt that this isn't good enough: no entertainment and poor results. Let's be honest, it would be hard to stomach the dross being churned out even if we were winning regularly.

I remember people getting cheezed off with Paul Cook and him getting booed. We finished the season with more goals and more points than anyone else. let's not kid ourselves we are the best supporters in the land.

Some fans even hated his emotional style - and were really chuffed 'Kenny' wasn't like Cook. It's probably the same fans who go on and on about 'Kenny' showing no emotion during a game and hardly ever unfolding his arms.

It is interesting as to who or what makes a good manager.
Certainly the Cook out brigade were vociferous as are the Jackett out brigade.
There is no doubt that after gaining promotion,we would have loved Cook to stay.

So maybe the best scenario for a manager is to start off low key and gradually improve and climb the league.

Over to you Kenny

There comes a point where one's economy inhibits one's ideals.

For little Wigan that happens the moment you get to the Championship.

when they play Cookball in the Championship with their squad, they get XXXXXXing hammered.

Their fans are getting XXXXXXty with him now for trying to keep them up with longball.

Football expenditure today is several orders of magnitude higher just to stay still today than it was 10 years ago

Remember the money we were in the red by that sunk us in 2009? That buys you two top end players today
