We had a run of results: L,L,W,D,L,L,W,L …… but what happened next?

did we sack our manager …. No
did we get on the player's backs?.....No

Actually, we thrashed Everton 7-0 and went on to retain our position as Champions of England!

So what you're saying is in all likelihood we're going to spank the scummers by 7(?)

Different era, different mentality, plus we were enjoying the novelty of being champions.

If Jackett had got us promoted last season, and not necessarily as champions - he wouldn't be getting any where near the grief he is now getting.

The ironic thing he has slightly tweaked the style this season ie we are passing the ball a lot more.

Wasn’t there a story about one of the players saying “judge is after 10 games”... 9 games is a quarter of the season.

Jackett has lost the fans but has he lost the changing room too? That’s far more important a factor in the decision to keep him or not.

Tuesday is damage limitation. Anything but a home win against Bolton and I really can’t see how they could justify keeping him any longer.

That’s not to say they’ll get rid immediately. It’s more likely that quiet conversations would take place with 3rd parties.
