Well the Adblocker is a good idea but not logging in using Facebook.

Facebook puts you in the pocket of people like Zuckerberg and other such censorious tossers. Donít line their pockets.

Strange that a lefty like Stan would actually recommend being in the pocket of ĎBig Techí.

On the other hand, if you are in favour of shutting down views you donít agree with, itís not so difficult to understand I suppose. 😬

There are various ways around it. Using a privacy focused browser such as StartPage or DuckDuckGo obfuscates your IP address and so the JPmedia servers can't keep a record of your articles read each week.

That said, rarely do I actually view more than five articles because there's little worth reading in that rag; surely its demise must be soon unless it is sold to a management with a very different vision to JPm.

Another way is to delete your cookies / browsing history. Then when the privacy pop up appears at the bottom of the page, you de-select all the tracking options (you should really do this for every webpage you visit as your data gets sold everywhere).

Just open a private browser window, Ctrl shift and P for Firefox or Ctrl/shift n for Chrome. This gives you 5 free articles but asks you to register to read the third one. Shut the browser down and open it again to reset the count to 5. Also works on Samsung internet, hold down the internet symbol and click new secret tab.

Easy peasy. Just enter the words 'full moon' in the browser if your first name has more than two vowels, turn around twice hit the F4 button while singing Yankee Doodle Dandy, control, shift then backspace button with your browser facing east, wait for Jupiter to move into Capricorn and when you see the words Jordan Cross just throw up.
Simples.

Tor Browser works a treat as every snooze article tells you it's the first of your five. Aside from the fact that the articles all read like they've been written by a retarded five year old it's an easy way to get round the problem.
