Ground improvement funding

Does anyone know (rather than guessing) whether Torrante are paying the cost of these improvements from their own funds, or whether they are being met from the Club's earned income?

Was it not reported that we lost 1.5mil last year. Even with the cup runs I can't see us having made much profit this year.

With our gate receipts almost DOUBLE threequarters of all the teams in Division 1 this season and 2nd overall behind Scummerderland we should be loaded and making plenty of profit compared to these other minnows.

Where is all the money going if it isn't going on the player budget(KJ no increase next season) or the ground?

Perhaps Johnny Moore can as Mark Catlin at the next monthly update .......

link address is too long - so figures are here

Moving the floodlights will cost a few bob [8)].

Now three are being dumped and the fourth will be relocated into the Car Park Where itís confirmed wonít provide light as this will come from the back of the stand.

Obviously they couldnít afford a skip big enough for all four but wtf is the point of keeping something that will never be switched on. Once itís moved if itís not being used Itís just scrap metal. Good to see ground development but donít turn it into a bad house conversion ffs.

Think the Eiseners have gone for the long term plan hence not spending big as 2C warmng now considered conservative will result in Fratton being in a swamp in 100 years when I will be 113 and a half.

So a floating stadium would be the right plan and why not? who knows what tech we will have on our hands, considering that in 1898 man ha not learned how to fly powered aircraft anything is possible.
