Agreed.

Definitely don't let them back in when it all goes t1ts up.

On the downside it will drive up the cost of flights with the bucket airlines. Just don't travel on match days, I guess.

Can't see it myself.

All the fat cats competing for one or two trophies per year?

A novelty for a season or two but Trophy cabinets resembling the one at st faries wont sit well with the boards who win nowt.

On the downside, the creation of a new European Superleague is the only way the scummers could actually win another trophy.

What amazed me about this so called super leage is why we Saints were not listed, as thier fans claim them to be massive, an oversight surely

Other than that I say bring it on let the greedy few clubs go, & good riddence! But if they leave it must be with a proviso that they cannot return when it goes belly up

I would imagine that it would have a huge impact on the PL and the way that is financed. It could spell the end of the stupid amount of money and distorted finances, in our national game.

Just a device in the lobby for changes to the champions league. Turning it into a mid week league where there is an elite group of 12 or so at the top.

It's so boring now. I never watch European games on TV and rarely watch any Premier League.

Agree that the drawn-out, so called "Champions League" is boring.

It's just a cartel for the top few sides in the English, Spanish, German and Italian leagues with a token effort from one French side who have no footballing pedigree and rely on cheque book recruitment.

What's even more ridiculous is that of the 9 biggest leagues in Europe, entry is restricted to just 6 leagues! That's right, 3 of the big 9 don't get a look in!

Bundesleague 2, the English Championship and our own League One are among the 9 biggest leagues in the whole of Europe based on total attendances! Yet minnows from leagues in Gibraltar, the Faroes, Andorra, Wales and Scotland all have places in one or both of the UEFA competitions!
