When does his contract run out. Thought it was a year. If he goes on loan for a year what fee will we get if any. Will he be a free agent at that time?

Because he has been with us from the start we will get a fee made by tribunal.
Could actually be more than what we would get if we were to sell him now.
Good luck Conor except against us.

Best of luck to him. Needs to put himself out of his comfort zone and see if he measures up.

Ashley Harris will be able to tell him what comes next if he doesn't.

Chuffed for him actually, was worried about a lack of ambition playing it safe as a squad player for us.

We must be getting a striker in then. If we're facing a season with just Pitman and Hawkins to pick from we're in for a spot of bother.

Have to agree with that.

With respect to the lad, Hawkins hasn't got 15 goals in him. I don't think he's even got 10.

And if this ongoing talk about playing Pitman as a 10 has truth in it then I don't think Brett will net more than 15 either.

Pitman is a 9 and isn't in the game if you play him deep. That's right where the opposition defenders want him.

At that point you're looking at Lowe and the new, recent-non leaguers and Ronan to score the rest.

I think that is asking a hell of a lot for a team with play off aspirations.

There could be a lot of games where we need some pace off the bench and Chaplin gives you that.
