How many more...??
XXXXXXin injuries are we going to pick up in training? Do we have a strength & conditioning team, and if we do what are they doing? Sorry but I don't believe any longer we can say that the amount of injuries we have had is just bad luck. A lot of them appear to be muscle injuries, which usually links to poor preparation. Hawkins did his warming up FFS!

Really think there needs to be a proper investigation into the way we prepare & condition the squad. Jackett bought in the medical team so he needs to get some answers.

How many more...??

The injury causing the most impact on the team has been Rose's broken leg - the circumstances of which were pure bad luck.

After that our most significant injuries have been to loan players, so are you suggesting all their home clubs are at fault ??

All clubs get injuries, and in pure numbers I would not say we've had an excessive amount this season. The problem has been that we have been unlucky that they have been clustered in certain positions at crucial times, e.g. left back early on, and centre mid in the new year, added to by suspension of Thompson being extended by the cold snap.

I'd be more worried if we were not picking up any injuries in training ... that would be a sign that training was not hard enough.

How many more...??

Its one of those ones where you have to look at the statistics and compare that to the 'norm'

How do our injuries compare to other teams in the league in terms of:

Warm-up/warm down
Age of player injured: does every player have the same routine or is it tailored for the players?
Diet: ditto as above
Sleep: this would role into recovery but is it something that they would look at?
Type of injury: Are players all getting similar types of injury, is it possible to home in on the causes?
Recurrance: Are the injuries new or recurring/linked to old injuries

Loads of places to look for answers but it can get pricey.

How many more...??

The way I see it we are getting lots of different types of injuries to different players. Players who do the same training as the players who are not getting injured.

Blaming medical staff for injuries is IMO just a lazy knee-jerk reaction to bad luck. Sometimes you just have to accept bad luck for what it is and not look for someone to blame.

"Not an excessive number of injuries" Deep Blue. Really??

It's easier to name those who haven't been injured. I can think of Lowe & that's about it. Really all down to bad luck?

Well - looks like Jackett has now admitted in the Snooze that the muscle injuries "were avoidable".

So maybe Deep my thoughts were not so lazy after all?
